Overview

As the Manager – Content Design, you will be a key contributor within Inception’s Marketing team, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing. You will lead the development of compelling visual narratives and branded content across digital, social, experiential, and product touchpoints. Your work will help define how Inception’s vision, products, and thought leadership are communicated to the world—ensuring consistency, impact, and creativity in every customer interaction.

 

The Opportunity


In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of high-quality content design—from visual identity systems and creative assets to multimedia storytelling. Working closely with brand, communications, product, and commercial teams, you will ensure our creative output drives awareness, engagement, and action. You will manage content design workflows, mentor creative contributors, and uphold brand excellence across all marketing initiatives.

 

Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. In partnership with Microsoft, we develop domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platforms—leveraging reasoning agents for precision, efficiency, and real-world utility. Our work spans AI incubation, IP creation, applied R&D, and go-to-market solutions for regional and global impact.

Responsibilities

Content & Creative Strategy
Define and execute visual storytelling strategies that elevate Inception’s brand, products, and purpose.
Lead the end-to-end creation of content design assets across web, social media, product marketing, presentations, reports, and events.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and executive stakeholders to align content with business priorities and narrative themes.
Contribute to campaign planning and creative direction by proposing formats, concepts, and design approaches.
Brand Stewardship
Uphold visual consistency and brand identity across all content—ensuring materials align with established guidelines.
Refine and evolve Inception’s visual language and content systems in line with brand goals and audience expectations.
Ensure that every piece of content reflects the quality, innovation, and ambition of the Inception brand.
Creative Team & Process Leadership
Manage internal designers, copywriters, and external creative partners to deliver on-time, high-quality content outputs.
Own project workflows including intake, resourcing, timelines, feedback cycles, and delivery for design-related workstreams.
Provide constructive creative feedback, mentorship, and quality control for all visual assets produced.
Innovation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Stay current with trends in content design, digital storytelling, motion graphics, and AI-enhanced creative tools.
Work closely with product, events, and digital teams to craft engaging visual experiences across formats and platforms.
Translate complex technical narratives into accessible, visually compelling content for a range of audiences.


Qualifications

Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand coherence.
Ability to translate marketing strategy into design direction and actionable creative briefs.
A builder mindset—comfortable in both strategic planning and hands-on design execution.
Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to present and defend design decisions with clarity and empathy.
Passion for AI, innovation, and translating technical stories into compelling content experiences.

 

To Qualify, You Must Have
A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
6–8 years of experience in content design, brand design, or visual storytelling—ideally within a tech, innovation, or B2B environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design work across digital, print, motion, and brand systems.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent design tools. Familiarity with motion graphics and multimedia production is a plus.
Experience managing designers or external creative teams, including agency and freelancer coordination.
