About the role:

We are looking for a Specialist - Communications to support the development and execution of communication initiatives that enhance AIQ’s brand positioning and industry leadership. This role focuses on high-quality content writing (English only, Arabic is an advantage) and strategic social media execution to engage target audiences and amplify AIQ’s voice across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities


Content Writing:

  • Develop compelling and high-quality content across various formats, including blog posts, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, product descriptions, and executive communications.
  • Craft engaging narratives that effectively communicate AIQ’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities to internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure all content aligns with AIQ’s brand voice, tone, and messaging framework while maintaining the highest standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather insights and translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive messaging tailored to target audiences.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • English fluency is mandatory. Arabic proficiency is an advantage but not required.

Social Media Execution:

  • Plan, create, and execute social media content strategies to grow AIQ’s online presence and engage key audiences.
  • Manage and maintain AIQ’s social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging and timely updates.
  • Develop platform-specific content tailored to LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and other relevant platforms, leveraging industry trends and best practices.
  • Monitor social media performance and community engagement, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify strategic campaigns and product launches through social media.
  • Manage social media calendars, scheduling posts, and ensuring timely and coordinated execution

Campaign Support and Digital Content Management:

  • Support integrated marketing and communication campaigns by creating content that drives engagement and amplifies brand visibility.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and content strategy across all digital touchpoints.
  • Contribute to website content management, ensuring accurate, relevant, and optimized messaging.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and HR, to align content and social media strategies with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and partners to enhance content quality and social media reach.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Monitor and measure the performance of content and social media campaigns, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Report on content engagement, social media analytics, and campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies to maximize impact.

Internal:

  • Senior Manager, Communications for strategy alignment and reporting.
  • Marketing team for integrated campaign execution and brand messaging.
  • Product teams for product-related content and social media initiatives.
  • HR and Executive teams for internal communication content and employee engagement.

External:

  • Social media agencies, digital marketing partners, and content vendors to enhance execution and amplification.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content writing and social media management, preferably within the technology or energy sectors.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality content and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness.

 

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Exceptional English writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail. Arabic proficiency is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Creative storyteller with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, impactful messaging.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, particularly for LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and content management systems (CMS).
  • Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and interpreting social media metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
