Frontend Engineer

As a Frontend Engineer at Inception, you will be responsible for designing and developing the user interface of our AI products. Your role is crucial in creating intuitive, responsive, and engaging user experiences that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with product designers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality web applications that are both visually appealing and functionally robust.

The opportunity

Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platforms utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces for AI products, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to translate design concepts into functional web applications.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications are optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services using RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Develop and execute frontend testing plans to ensure the stability and reliability of the applications.
• Optimize frontend performance by implementing best practices such as lazy loading, code splitting, and asset optimization.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in frontend development and incorporate innovative solutions into our products.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior frontend engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure the alignment of frontend development goals with the company's strategic objectives, driving the delivery of high-quality and innovative user interfaces.
   

Required Tech Stack

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Frontend Frameworks: Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• State Management: Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Vuex.
• Responsive Design: Expertise in responsive and mobile-first design using frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab for version control and collaboration.
• Testing: Experience with frontend testing tools and frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Build Tools: Familiarity with build tools and task runners like Webpack, Babel, and npm/Yarn.
• API Integration: Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL into frontend applications.
• Design Tools: Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for collaborating with designers.
• Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance optimization techniques for frontend applications, including lazy loading, code splitting, and asset optimization.

Skills and attributes for success

o   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

o   Experience in frontend development, particularly with AI-driven applications.

o   A portfolio showcasing previous frontend projects and contributions.
